Police confiscates 32 packages of heroin from Turkish citizen in Batumi

Georgian police have seized heroin in especially large quantities from a Turkish citizen in Georgia’s western coastal city of Batumi. The individual, who was identified as M.I., 46, has been charged with the possession of drugs.

32 packages of heroin have been seized from his rented apartment in Batumi. 
The crime envisages from 8 to 20 years or life imprisonment.
Investigation is in progress on the fact of illegal purchase and keeping of large amount of narcotics under Article 260, Part 6, Subparagraph A of the Criminal Code of Georgia.
