The Government should pay special attention to the villages along the occupation line - Oto Kakhidze

European Georgia demands from the authorities to grant highland status to the village of Kere, Gori district.

According to the party, if the status is granted, the population will enjoy preferences.

“I would like to urge both the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure and the Minister of State, Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, to take all steps necessary to give this village the status of a high mountain village.

The Government is obliged to take care of the population and citizens of this country, but it should pay special attention to the settlements near the occupation line”, - said Otar Kakhidze, the Chairman of the Parliamentary faction European Georgia.
