I wish you a Happy Didgoroba Feast. It is the greatest victory in Georgia’s history, a perfect example of self-sacrifice for the country’s unity and nation, the Prime Minister stated at today’s meeting of the Interagency Coordination Council.
According to the Head of Government, August 12 marks the Didgoroba Feast, something that each Georgian cherishes as part of both history and everyday life.
“August 11-when we commemorate our Shindisi Heroes-is an equally noteworthy example. This is our life, the life of this country, continuous self-sacrifice, and fight. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we are not having popular celebrations this year, but I am convinced that every Georgian cherishes it as part of both history and everyday life, one of ultimate value and a testimony to heroism”, - said Giorgi Gakharia.
