Various parties are trying to involve us and make us take their side, but we are not going to take anyone’s side. Such a statement made Jim Risch, a member of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, at the committee meeting.
“Senator Shaheen and I were in Georgia in 2012, when they were holding elections. We thought it would be a fresh start, but since then we have been regularly frustrated with what is happening in the country.
They, various parties, are coming to Washington and each of them is trying to involve us and make us take their side in their political maneuvers. We tell them that they have to solve it themselves. We are not going to take anyone’s side, but they are not making much progress”, - said Jim Risch.
