Khatia Dekanoidze, a member of the United National Movement, writes on Facebook that she does not support the announcement of a boycott in the Parliament and City Councils.
“I do not support boycotting the Parliament or the City Councils, nor quitting the mandates without results. Now, the most important thing is to look at the events rationally and not lose the trust of our partners.
We know the moods of our partners. If the radicalization of the process goes wrong (I don’t mean a massive protest) - it will be the worst problem for the party and Misha. As the road leads to more marginal processes, they will not let Misha go.
The solution to Misha’s issue is to work on significant international pressure. [Bidzina] Ivanishvili must feel threatened. We have been working on this for 1.5 years. Today, he sees the opposite. The more we have the ability to rationalize and speak publicly about the truth, the better it is for the interests of our homeland”, - writes Khatia Dekanoidze.
